Susheel Started the Hive in October 1999. Before he started this venture, he worked for the Wunderman Thompson group at Contract Advertising India Pvt. Ltd. As Vice President and National Media Director at Contract; he was in charge of providing Media services to all clients...

across all their offices in India. He worked for clients like NIIT, Warner-Lambert, Bajaj, Whirlpool, ICICI, Jenson & Nicholson, Timex, EPSON, HCL, ESPN, Dabur, Discovery Channel, OCM, Braun, etc. Before the Contract, Sushil was at McCann Erickson for four years. He headed the Delhi office team on Media services as a Controller. His key clients were Nestle, STAR TV, Gillette, Reckitt, Coleman, Lufthansa, and Coke. Sushil started his Advertising Agency career at Ogilvy & Mather in 1988. Before Advertising, he spent seven years in the Publishing business, marketing Indian Express, Business World, and The Telegraph. He is an Honours Graduate in Commerce from the University of Delhi and an alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, where he pursued his PG in Chinese Studies. Sushil taught Strategic Media Planning at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication-Delhi. He has been a regular contributor to trade journals on professional matters. In addition, his opinion is sought on Media-policy issues by trade bodies and media businesses.

Bloomy Jha

BUSINESS HEAD & DIRECTOR

Bloomy started her career in 2007 with thehive. After spending a couple of years here as a Servicing Executive, she was hired by J Walter Thompson (now known as Wunderman Thompson) to work on Frito-Lay India. After over three years at JWT, she moved to Brand Management at Apollo Tyres Ltd....

to handle Product Marketing & Brand Communication as a client. Apollo exposed her to Sales, International Marketing, R&D, and a Techno-Marketing stint in Europe. Her passion for Advertising and an opportunity at McCann drew her back to handling their most extensive account, Aircel, in their Delhi office. Finally, in 2014, the entrepreneur in her brought her back home to thehive, where she had started years ago. Bloomy is a graduate of the prestigious Lady Sri Ram College in Delhi. She has further earned a PG Diploma in Advertising from the National Institute of Advertising in Delhi, as well as an online PG Diploma Certification in Digital Marketing & Communications from MICA in Ahmedabad. She has over 15 years of experience in Marketing Communication and brings a strong hands-on involvement and understanding of the industry she works in. She is also a proactive troubleshooter, a dependable service resource, and has a voracious appetite for learning new things.

Debasish Debnath

CREATIVE HEAD

Debasish joined thehive in 2018. He has over 15 years of experience as an art director in brand communication, graphic design and advertising across numerous industries ranging from education, automobile, healthcare,..

and advertising across numerous industries ranging from education, automobile, healthcare, and FMCG to name a few. Though he is a commerce graduate, he is a highly talented visual artist who simplifies challenging issues. He has a keen eye for detail and a high level of technical proficiency. Working closely with clients on projects both above and below the line, Debasish enjoys immersing himself in design briefs. He transforms his projects and brings them to life with great purpose and direction. As an early adopter, he is continuously looking for new ways to improve and expand his skill set.
